[greater_noakhali] Donate Free Rice for the Hungry People

Hello

Many people are donating for the cyclone-affected peoples of Bangladesh. Besides donating money directly, you can also donate rice indirectly for the poor peoples. For this free rice donation, you don't have to pay anything from your pocket. Just play an online vocabulary game and the rice would be donated from the site's advertisers to the United Nations World Food Program (WFP).

A portion of the rice will eventually go to Bangladesh because United Nations World Food Program (WFP) is prividing foods for the cyclone effected peoples of Bangladesh. To know more about this please visit: http://www.bdwebgui de.com/free- rice.htm

You can donate rice for the poor peoples by simply playing an online game. You don't have to pay money or give any other efforts. Simply play the online game and the hungry peoples would get the rice for free from the United Nations World Food Program (WFP). Also, by playing this game you will learn English vocabulary for free!

So, how this works?

1. Go to: http://www.freerice.com/ and on the home page you will see a word with four meanings.
2.Click any of the four meanings that you think is the best definition of the word.
3. a) If you answer is correct, you just donated 10 grain of rice for the hungry people of the world.
    b) If your answer is wrong, the correct answer will be displayed.
4. You will see another word on the screen with four choices and follow again from step 2.

You can play as long as you wish and every time you answer correctly, 10 grains of rice would be donated to the United Nations World Food Program (WFP). On the right hand side of the screen you will see how many grains you are donating.

Who pays for the donated rice?

The rice is paid for by the advertisers whose names you see on the bottom of the vocabulary screen. This is regular advertising for these companies, but it is also something more. Through their advertising at FreeRice, these companies support both learning (free vocabulary for everyone) and reducing hunger (free rice for the hungry). We commend these companies for their participation at FreeRice.

If you want to learn more about FreeRice, please visit: http://freerice.com/faq.html

When this program was launched on 7 October 2007, only 830 grains of rice were donated on that day. Just after five weeks, on 15 November, 2007 the number of grain donated on a single day become 201,226,610 grains! It's increasing every day. To check how many grains were donated yesterday, go to http://www.freerice.com/totals.html

You can also go to the FreeRice website by clicking on the same image on the right hand side of our home page - www.bdwebguide.com

To promote the donation, some parents made a rule for their children. Before playing computer games every child must donate 100 grains by playing the FreeRice game everyday. You can also try this!

Somewhere in the world, a person is eating rice that you helped provide. Thank you.
