| A team of 125-member Bangladesh police will join the United Nations' (UN) peace-keeping mission in Democratic Republic of Congo, a senior spokesman of Bangladesh Police told Xinhua on Sunday. Senior Information Officer of the Bangladesh Police Headquarters AKM Kamrul Ahsan said 63 policemen of the team, led by Police Super M Aminul Islam, will leave Dhaka on Monday night to join the UN peacekeeping mission in Congo. "The rest 62 policemen of the team will leave Dhaka on Wednesday," he added. Ahsan said a total of 1,072 members of Bangladesh police are serving now in a number of peacekeeping missions of the UN in different countries of the world.
